Grant for Ground Source Heat PumpWe've just had confirmation of another grant towards our Ground Source Heat Pump (GSHP). The Department of Energy and Climate Change have promised funds of just under £49,000. This brings our total external grants received for the GSHP to almost £80,000. Contractors have now started drilling 100m deep (yes 100m!) boreholes into the ground. This is stage 1 of the GSHP process.
This is great news! Not only is it a welcome boost to our funding efforts, but it's a clear recognition of our commitment to construct a building that is as environment-friendly as possible.
